The Cairn Terrier is an affectionate, loving and loyal dog
who is also a natural hunter.
These agile and quick terriers were initially bred to hunt
vermin in the rocky cairns of Scotland.
This trait is still there in todays terrier.
Scarlet is quite the hunter herself not only catching several
mice but she has also amassedƯ possum,
several new born kittens, a couple of chickens and a 2'2" brown snake.
Several lizards have narrowly escaped these punishing strong jaws.
This is a Cairn which is often used to mark graves
